Adam Carriker, NU defensive end
It sure looked like Carriker was setting the tone for a big day for the Blackshirts. He had a 7-yard sack on OSU’s first series, and finished with three tackles for loss and six total tackles. He also broke up a pass and, for good measure, blocked an extra-point kick.

Nathan Peterson, OSU defensive end
On a day where the Oklahoma State defense wreaked havoc on the NU offense, Peterson was the most-disruptive force. He recorded four solo tackles, including three for loss (26 yards) and two for sacks, and his 19-yard touchdown return of Zac Taylor’s fumble put the final nail in NU’s coffin.

Bobby Reid, OSU quarterback
He appears to be the total package. He can do a lot of damage on his own (Exhibit A: His 56-yard scramble on a broken play in the second quarter), but he also makes effective use of Oklahoma State’s array of talented players. This is a good offense, folks. And there’s an All-Big-12-caliber quarterback running the show.

Brandon Jackson, NU running back
The junior continued his impressive month by rushing for a career-high 182 yards on 21 carries. Jackson’s third strong road performance separated him from the other NU backs and should be featured the most in the Huskers’ quest for the Big 12 North Title.
