MIKE HUFFMAN, Lincoln: “Great game. It seemed like we gave Auburn their breaks. (I’m very) excited for next season, very optimistic with Sam Keller (at quarterback).”

SUZ and BOB CLINKENBEARD, Lincoln: Suz — “Pretty proud of the defense. You know, on the scoreboard, I thought we beat them on all the stats. After the first half, the only thing they beat us on was penalties. I just don’t know what happened.” Bob — “Offensively, we’re embarrassed. I’m just amazed at their lack of offense.“

ROGER EITZMANN, Sidney, Iowa: “Compared to what I thought it was going to be, we played outstanding. If it wasn’t for the two gifts. … A field goal is the only thing they earned. Our offense in the second half wasn’t diverse enough.”
