A proposed marketing contract for the Nebraska Cornhuskers would bring in at least $109.7 million for the university over the next 13 years.
Athletic Director Tom Osborne says the contract giving exclusive multimedia rights to IMG would be the largest marketing contract for collegiate athletics in the U.S.
Osborne says IMG guarantees to bring in at least $109.7 million by June 2021, but he projects it could garner $112.5 million in corporate sponsorships and licensing of broadcast rights.
The Board of Regents approved the contract Friday.
The contract comes after a dismal 2007 football season that resulted in two high-profile firings in the UNL athletic program.
