Todd Celesky, Lincoln: “Our defense stayed at home. I don’t understand it. They didn’t show up to play. We were doing really good and running, then we stopped. We have to play better than this if we’re going to win the Big 12 North.”
Shawn Jones, Benkelman: “We didn’t make the plays in the second half. They did, we didn’t. It ain’t over, Missouri got beat today, too, and we’ll keep going.”
Michael Klaber, Decatur, Ala.: “It seemed like morale went way down after the second touchdown at the end of the first half. We couldn’t get the defense up and get anything going in the second half. I think they’ll win the big 12 North, it’s just a tough game coming off a tough loss."
