No. 99, 6-4, 275 pounds, defensive end

Ah You, a senior, leads a talented group of Oklahoma defensive ends, said Nebraska coach Bill Callahan.

“They have the ability to put them in a lot of different positions,” the coach said.

For instance, Ah You slides inside to nose tackle in the Sooners’ nickel package.

“They’ll feature him a lot of different ways, whether it’s over the guard, over the tackle, over the center,” Callahan said. “It’s obvious he’s their best athlete, their best pass-rusher. They’re going to try to put him in a position to get a (favorable) matchup.”

Ah You, of Highland, Utah, has a team-leading seven quarterback hurries and shares the lead with three sacks. He has 7½ tackles behind the line of scrimmage after recording 12 last season.

In last season’s 31-24 victory against Nebraska, Ah You was among seven defenders to record a tackle for loss. Oklahoma finished with 13 TFLs, including nine sacks.

Oklahoma this season has been led defensively by middle linebacker Rufus Alexander. In addition to Ah You, the Sooners have received significant production from ends Larry Birdine (two sacks, four hurries) and Cal Thibodeaux (five hurries).
