Nebraska ran past No. 16 Oregon in overtime Saturday to claim an 88-79 victory at Qwest Center Omaha.
The Ducks tied the game at 74 on a three-pointer with less than 10 seconds left in regulation to force the extra period, but went just 1-of-7 from the floor in overtime. NU's Aleks Maric's tip-in with 30 seconds left in OT pushed NU's lead to six, and the Huskers never looked back.
NU improved to 8-2 on the season with the upset victory, after which Cornhusker fans and students stormed the court in celebration.
