While catching up on news in the Journal Star, I saw in Don Walton's column ("Federal tax reform could trickle down," Nov. 27) that "Nebraska is one of 19 states whose residents would pay more in federal taxes in 2027 under the Senate Finance Committee's tax reform package, according to the nonpartisan Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy."

This is another reason to fight this cruel and greedy bill that gives such bonanzas to the extremely rich, hurts higher education and takes money away from health and other services.

Please register your complaints about the bill with Sens. Deb Fischer and Ben Sasse. We need to stand together to resist this hurtful and unfair bill.
