The atmosphere at Anytime Fitness is very much like a small community, said Brandon Peterson, gym manager at Lincoln’s north location.

Making health and fitness a lifestyle versus a habit is the aim at Anytime Fitness, a 24-hour gym with three Lincoln locations.

The company’s mission is to educate and inspire active and dynamic individuals in developing a health-conscious lifestyle through the dedication of its attentive and accomplished team. Anytime Fitness is looking for people who are committed to health and fitness, said Brandon Peterson, gym manager at the Lincoln north Anytime Fitness location.

Peterson’s family bought Lincoln’s three Anytime Fitness franchises last November. They are located at 4900 N. 26th St., 7125 S. 29th St., and 4131 Pioneer Woods Dr. The family also owns franchises in Oakland and Gretna.

A business administration major at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Peterson said the atmosphere at Anytime Fitness is pretty community-based. “It is a surprisingly personable experience, and we will partner with clients to help them make a lifestyle change.

“We are going to care about each member individually,” he added. “That means knowing each member well and finding the best ways to motivate them so they can reach their goals.”

Some clients come in a couple times a week and others every day. Gym access is by a key fob, which gives members access to all Anytime Fitness locations across the nation. Clients will find treadmills, elipticals, stationary bikes, free weights, weight-lifting machines and tanning beds. Tanning is limited to no more than one session in a 24-hour period. Anytime Fitness facilities also feature private bathrooms with showers and a 24-hour security monitoring system.

Each client receives a free fitness consultation with a personal trainer, with additional sessions available. Clients also have online access to Anytime Health, where they can track their nutrition, create individualized workouts and blog with trainers.
