The sixth annual Golfing for a Reason tournament raised over $20,000 for the Aiding Angels Foundation Aug. 24 at the Highlands Golf Course. The four-person scramble was the tournament’s largest turnout so far.

The Aiding Angels Foundation provides free professional housecleaning services to those in our community undergoing cancer treatment. Brenda Schwery, owner of Maid to Please and founder of the Aiding Angels Foundation, expressed gratitude for the event’s sponsors: Saving Seniors Money with Jim Schueth, Union Bank and Trust, Capitol Heating and Air Conditioning, Proformance Physical Therapy, ServiceMaster Restore, HBE Becker Meyer Love LLP, Infinity Promotions, Star Digital Print, Stuchlik & Associates, and DuTeau Chevrolet.

Aiding Angels is a local 501(c)(3) organization that provides free professional housecleaning service. All that is needed to receive free services is a doctor’s note stating that the individual is going through cancer treatment.

Those interested in the service can call 402-434-2472 or see www.aidingangels.com.
