The high school girls soccer team at Lincoln Lutheran has been honored by two national organizations - National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and the Lutheran All-American Association (LAAA) -  for their fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.

The Warriors were among seven teams nationally to receive the platinum version of the Ethics and Sportsmanship Award from the NSCAA and one of five teams nationwide to receive the LAAA's gold version. Both organizations are committed to promoting ethical behavior and sportsmanship on the field.

These ethics awards were given to the Warriors for completing the 2016-17 high school season without being shown a yellow caution card or red ejection card by referees throughout the season.
