LUX Center for the Arts presents “Winterfest” Sunday (Dec. 17) from 1-4 p.m. at the Center, 48th and Baldwin streets.

Winterfest offers an annual afternoon of free hands-on art-making for the whole family. This year, activities will include printmaking cards, scratch-art ornaments, snowflake chains, creating with air-dry clay and watercolor spin art. Local first-time author Charlotte Duncan-Wagner will provide a story time every 30 minutes, and illustrator Jerry Washington Jr. will lead a drawing activity.

Free cookies, cider and coffee will also be provided. More details: 402-466-8692 or www.luxcenter.org.
