KZUM (89.3 FM)  hosts a marquee lineup of Nebraska songwriters in performance at its inaugural Great Winter Ramble on Jan. 13 at the Pla Mor Ballroom, 6600 W. O St. All proceeds will benefit KZUM’s Nebraska artists showcase at the Folk Alliance International (FAI) Conference in Kansas City, Feb. 14-18, 2018.

The nonprofit FAI Conference bills itself as “the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community.” For the first time, KZUM has organized a contingent of staff, volunteers and performers to attend the conference.

At The Great Winter Ramble benefit, the Pla Mor’s doors will open at 6 p.m. Performers will include: Mike Semrad and the River Hawks, Matt Cox, Evan Bartels, Andrea von Kampen, Will Hutchinson and Jack Hotel. All of the performers are donating their time for the event.

Food by Lippy’s BBQ will be available all night, with all proceeds from sales generously donated to KZUM. A silent auction is also planned.
