Due to the holidays, the usual fourth-Tuesday meeting of the Caregiver Education Group will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 12) in the dining room on the lower level of Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M St. This month's gathering will be the group's annual holiday party.
The Caregiver Education Group and Saint Paul UMC sponsor the meetings for caregivers. Time for discussion and sharing follows the presentation. Everyone is welcome to attend.
"We will meet in the dining room on the lower level so that we may share in the wonderful goodies, games and entertainment," said spokeswoman Suzy Campbell. "Lincoln Caregiver Education Group members will be bringing all kinds of treats…..even candied bacon!"
There will be a variety of veggies, fruits, and sweet treats. Entertainment will be by members of the Saint Paul UMC bell choir, made possible by the generosity of Butherus, Maser & Love. Everyone is welcome.
Monthly meetings for 2018 are in the planning stages. "Go to the Lincoln Caregivers Education Group page on Facebook and like us. It will keep you updated on events of interest to caregivers/older persons," said Campbell.
Becca Henry and Christine Vanderford, members of the Lincoln Caregiver Education Group, share information for caregivers regularly.
