NORTH PLATTE - A multi-agency investigation into drug dealing in west-central Nebraska has led to the arrest of a dozen people from North Platte.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the 12 people were arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of distribution of controlled substances.
The undercover investigation began in January 2008. In the last two years, the arrested people allegedly sold cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and prescription drugs to state patrol investigators.
The patrol worked with the North Platte Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Drug Enforcement Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
