VALENTINE — The Federal Aviation Administration is looking into what caused a pilot to land his small plane on top of another plane at the Valentine municipal airport in north-central Nebraska.

An FAA spokeswoman based in Kansas City said no one was killed in the Friday afternoon crash, but one person suffered minor injuries.

Neither the FAA nor local officials would identify the person hurt in the crash.

Elizabeth Cory with the FAA said the federal agency is investigating.
