Nebraska's latest weekly crop report says fall harvest continues to lag because of chilly, wet weather.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says snow last week across much of the state also kept farmers out of the fields.

The agency says corn harvest is now over three weeks behind the five-year average and is the slowest progress seen since 1982. Soybean harvest is 11 days behind the average.

The USDA says the state's corn crop going into this week rated 80 percent in good or excellent condition, above last year's 76 percent good or excellent rating.
