OMAHA — Bail has been set at $500,000 each for three people arrested after a shooting at an Omaha hotel and accused of running an identity theft ring.
A fourth suspect, 32-year-old Jason Galle, remains hospitalized with a bullet wound. He’s expected to survive.
Dana McCoy, Daniel Luichinger and Eldred Dightman were arrested after Wednesday’s incident at the downtown Courtyard Marriott.
According to police, Galle and McCoy stole a purse from an Omaha church, then used information in the purse to book a hotel room. Investigators say Galle and McCoy headed to Luichinger and Dightman’s room, where officers found ID-making equipment and meth.
Police says a Douglas County deputy shot Galle after Galle hit him with a vase.
