OMAHA — Republican Adrian Smith has a hefty bank account with which to defend his 3rd District House seat.
The incumbent congressman reports more than $323,000 in the bank, with a total of nearly $634,000 raised.
That includes more than $87,000 brought in since April 24.
Smith’s Democratic opponent, Jay Stoddard, says he’s raised less than $5,000, which means the Federal Election Commission’s rules don’t require him to file a report.
