DES MOINES, Iowa - Sentencing has been rescheduled for later this month for a woman who has pleaded guilty to pandering for helping recruit two Nebraska teenagers for prostitution.
Marcia Ryan was initially charged with ongoing criminal conduct, two counts of human trafficking and two counts of pandering.
Under a plea agreement accepted by the Crawford County District Court, she pleaded guilty to one count of pandering.
Ryan faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
Her attorney has said he will argue for a deferred judgment and probation for his client.
Ryan had been scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, but her attorney said the judge had a scheduling conflict. The sentencing is now scheduled for April 23.
