Co-chairs have been named to the 18-member search advisory committee for the position of vice president and vice chancellor for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
The co-chairs of the committee are agronomy and horticulture professor Stephen Baenziger and Agriculture Builders of Nebraska vice president Roger Wehrbein.
UNL Chancellor Harvey Perlman said the committee would begin the search process and be seeking input from those who might know of potential candidates.
The panel is looking for a successor to John Owens, who is stepping down into faculty ranks June 30. Owens has been vice chancellor since January 2001.
