The Southwest Rural Fire and Rescue Department will host a pancake feed Dec. 4, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Martell/Sprague Community Center, Southwest 14th Street and Martell Road, to raise money to help with medical expenses for Skyler Brandt, who was injured in an accident earlier this month and lost most of his mobility.

He is recovering from a broken neck, but he may be in a rehabilitation hospital for as long as a year.

People who can't make it to the pancake feed can donate at Security First Banks to the Skyler Brandt Benefit.
