Ballots for the special mail-in election for Norris School District 160 will be mailed Wednesday.

Norris Public Schools patrons will decide a $14 million bond election for the construction of an intermediate elementary facility, as well as renovations to the current high school building.

The bond election will be entirely by mail, and ballots must be returned to the Election Commissioner's Office no later than 5 p.m. March 13.

Ballots may be returned through the mail or hand-delivered to the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's Office.

Residents in the Norris School District who are not registered to vote have until Friday to do so through the mail or until 6 p.m. March 2 to do so in person at their respective election commissioner or county clerk's offices at these addresses:

* Lancaster County Election Commissioner, 601 N. 46th St., Lincoln, NE 68503

* Gage County Clerk, 612 Grant St., Beatrice, NE 68310

* Otoe County Clerk 1021 Central Ave., Nebraska City, NE 68410
