Lincoln Public Schools will hold two community forums in June on the preliminary 2018-19 budget.

As in past years, the forums will include a budget presentation followed by comments and questions from the public.

The forums will be:

* June 12, from 5-7 p.m., at the LPS District Office, 5905 O St.

* June 14, 7-8 p.m., at Lincoln Northeast High School, 2635 N. 63rd St.

The Lincoln Board of Education also will hold two 4:30 p.m. work sessions to discuss the budget May 22 and June 26, both at the district office.

In addition, a public hearing on the proposed budget will be 6 p.m. Aug. 14, at the district office. The board is scheduled to vote on the budget Aug. 28.
