CORTLAND -- Authorities are looking for a southeast Nebraska man who allegedly fired a gun inside a house with his wife.

Gage County deputies are searching for 43-year-old William A. Price of rural Cortland.

Authorities were called to the house south of town at about 7 p.m. Friday, after Price's wife told authorities that he had brandished a gun. Price's wife escaped, and officers surrounded the home overnight.

A Nebraska State Patrol robot searched the house Saturday but failed to locate Price. Authorities believe he left before they arrived, and he may be driving a gray 2007 Honda Pilot.

Authorities estimate that Price fired 20 to 30 shots inside the home. Price is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone who sees him should contact law enforcement.
