One Lincoln comic book fan is looking for a little real-life justice after having 600 comics stolen from storage.
Emily Hansen was keeping the books for a friend in a communal storage area of her apartment building in the 700 block of South 12th Street. When Hansen went to do laundry at 3 p.m. Monday, she checked the storage and discovered the books missing, she said.
A Lincoln Police Department incident report says the books likely were stolen sometime over the weekend.
Hansen said the comics all were X-Men titles, some dating back to the 1970s. The collection included the complete runs of some series.
Police were investigating the theft but had no suspects as of Friday night.
