The Lincoln woman accused of failing to stop after fatally hitting a pedestrian with a minivan Thursday night has been released from jail after posting bond.

At a hearing Tuesday afternoon, Lancaster County Judge James Foster set Kinley Queen's bond at 10 percent of $15,000, and she posted the required $1,500 soon after.

Queen, 25, faces a felony charge of failure to stop and render aid. Police say she was driving a red 2003 Chevrolet Venture that hit and killed 50-year-old William Springer as he crossed North Antelope Valley Parkway to meet a friend.
