A federal judge sentenced a 25-year-old Lincoln man this week to five years in prison for receiving child pornography.
U.S. District Court Judge Richard G. Kopf also sentenced Fernando Arellano-Bedolla to five years of supervised release and ordered that computer equipment used by him be forfeited to the government.
On Jan. 26, investigators looking into violations of federal copyright laws executed a search warrant at Arellano-Bedolla's residence.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agents seized and examined a computer and found videos of child pornography. Arellano-Bedolla later pleaded guilty to knowingly receiving the images.
