Peeing on a police car isn't a great idea.
Especially not at a police station. And especially not when the officer is still in the car.
A Fremont man apparently missed that memo.
The 27-year-old was cited on suspicion of littering by urination after he took a leak on the front of a University of Nebraska-Lincoln police cruiser Saturday.
An officer had just pulled into the station and was working on his reports when the man approached the front of his car and urinated on both the vehicle and the side of the building at about 2:40 p.m., police say.
The man was taken to detox with a blood-alcohol content of 0.192 percent, UNL Police Sgt. Dave Dibelka said. The man was in town for the football game and cooperated with officers when he was placed in protective custody, Dibelka said.
