Lincoln police are looking for a man who robbed the Cracker Barrel early Tuesday.

Officer Katie Flood said a man entered the restaurant, 6700 N. 27th St., at about 6:30 a.m. He approached an employee at the restaurant, implied that he had a gun and demanded money, Flood said.

The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and left the store in a black or maroon car that the employee told police was possibly a Toyota Celica. Flood said the employee told police that the car appeared to have Texas plates that began with the letters JKL.

No gun was displayed and no one was injured during the robbery, Flood said. Due to the restaurant's proximity to Interstate 80, the Nebraska State Patrol was notified, Flood said.
