The Lancaster County Board is looking for someone who lives outside Lincoln to serve as a county liaison on the Lincoln Library Board of Trustees.

Applicants must live in the rural part of Lancaster County outside the Lincoln’s zoning jurisdiction, which extends three miles beyond the city limits.

The county liaison will have all the rights and responsibilities of a board member, except will not have a vote during library board meetings.

Applications will be accepted through Friday. The library board will review the applications and then forward them with a recommendation to the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners for consideration.

Information about the appointment process is available by calling the library director’s office at 402-441-8512.
