A missing 74-year-old man from the Havelock area has turned up in Kansas.
Police spent Sunday night and part of Monday morning looking for Ivan Havlovic, who left the 60th and Havelock area in his pickup headed for home 10 blocks away at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, but never made it there, Capt. Jim Thoms said. The man has memory problems, he said.
At one point, it appeared Havlovic made a cell phone call from the Plattsmouth area, confused about where he was.
Havlovic later turned up in Washington County, Kan., where he’d been involved in an accident.
