Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary at Matt Talbot Kitchen, a faith-based hunger relief and outreach program at 1911 R St.
Capt. Mike Woolman said that between 6:45 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, someone pried open a door to a neighboring business, St. Vincent DePaul Warehouse & Stores.
The burglar walked through the St. Vincent DePaul warehouse and pried open an internal door to Matt Talbot, causing $20 damage.
Once inside Matt Talbot, the burglar went through several desk drawers in an office and stole $1,061 in cash.
