Don Magee, who farms southeast of Lincoln, found and has restored a 1940s single-row corn picker. He tried it out in front of his neighbors Monday afternoon.

After making repairs to a 1940s single-row corn picker owned by Don Magee, Larry Gottula starts the 1950s Massey Harris tractor while Warren Beckman tosses an ear into the old galvanized Oliver flare box. About the picker, Magee said "It'll look pretty nice when it's painted, it's got sentimental value."
