A Lincoln business was evacuated following a report of a gas leak at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to Lincoln Fire and Rescue.
Deputy Fire Chief Bruce Sellon said firefighters were called to Design Data , 1501 Old Cheney Road, and were met by heavy natural gas odors outside the business.
Gas was shut off to the building and the structure was ventilated, Sellon said.
Employees were sent home at about 2 p.m. while Black Hills Energy officials and the building's owners attempted to determine the source of the problem.
No one reported any health concerns following the gas leak.
