Lincoln police are investigating three burglaries to businesses overnight Sunday.

The first came in at 11:15 p.m. to A-Chau Gifts at 1434 N. 27th St., Suite 3. Capt. Jim Thoms said police got a call from a security company about glass being broken there. Officers arrived to find the front glass door broken, but they don’t think anyone got inside. A security camera, valued at $20, was stolen, and damage to the door was estimated at $200.

At 2 a.m., police went to BB&R Pawn, at 1701 O St., about an alarm sounding. Officers found the north door broken by a concrete brick. Thoms said a glass display case that had guns in it also was broken. But it looks as if burglar was going to steal a shotgun and dropped it. They don’t believe there was any loss. Damage to the door was estimated at $500.

The third alarm came in at 2:50 a.m. to Varietades El Quetzal, a clothing store at 930 S. 13th St. Thoms said the front door was shattered and seven short-sleeve shirts, with a total value of $140, were stolen. Damage to the door was estimated at $350.
