Police are investigating the theft of two drive-through speakers from fast-food restaurants over the weekend.
A speaker valued at $200 was stolen from Subway, 3245 S. 10th St., between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Lincoln Police Capt. David Beggs said.
A speaker valued at $50 was stolen from Kentucky Fried Chicken, 1210 South St., between 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.
Wires were clipped from the speakers at both locations, and police think the thefts are related.
