A nearly naked woman spotted in front of a Lincoln Catholic school Tuesday night probably caused a stir, but it turned out she wasn't violating any laws, according to police.

Lincoln Police Capt. Danny Reitan said they got a call shortly after 7 p.m. on a report of a man filming a nude 18- or 19-year-old woman on the sidewalk in front of Pius X High School.

Reitan said police arrived to find the woman wearing white underwear and no shirt, but she had pasties covering her nipples.

No tickets have been written at this point, he said.

"It does not appear to be a law violation, as she was covering everything she needed to have covered," Reitan said.

He said police also have no reason to believe she had been inside the school, which could have led to a trespassing ticket.
