A 21-year-old man faces felony threats and weapons charges after police say he flashed a handgun at another motorist while teaching his wife to drive Saturday.

Lah Bwe Shee was arrested at a west Lincoln gun store in connection with the incident that occurred on West O Street near Sun Valley Boulevard just before noon, according to Lincoln police.

While stopped at the intersection, the car behind Shee's began honking and flipping him and his wife off as their car sat stopped at the green light, investigators said in an affidavit.

Investigators believe he removed the magazine from the gun before waving it out the passenger side window, the affidavit said.

Shee has been released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
