Lincoln police arrested a 29-year-old Omaha man Friday morning for allegedly driving on a suspended license, a crime for which police say he has been convicted 21 times.

Geno Lasir Montgomery made a wide turn near 17th and Q streets about 3 a.m., and a Lincoln police officer pulled him over, Officer Katie Flood said.

Montgomery didn’t pull his Chevy Blazer over immediately after the officer turned on his overhead lights, and Public Safety Director Tom Casady said he was jailed on failing to yield to an emergency vehicle as well as suspicion of driving on a suspended license and making an improper turn.
