Polk County sheriff's deputies do not suspect foul play in the death of a man found in a Shelby grain bin Monday.

Sheriff Dwaine Ladwig said employees found the man about 8 a.m. in a bin a block away from the United Farmer's Cooperative main office.

The man was not an employee, Ladwig said, and his death remains under investigation by the sheriff's office, Polk County Attorney's Office and Nebraska State Patrol.

Ladwig said an autopsy was to be done Tuesday.

He would not release the name of the man, pending notification of the family.
