Seven businesses in Otoe and Saunders counties were accused of selling alcohol to minors following inspections Saturday by the Nebraska State Patrol.

A total of 56 businesses were checked, including restaurants, bars, convenience stores, grocery stores and liquor stores.

According to the State Patrol, those that failed inspections were: Wild Ride bar in Prague; Midtown Amoco convenience store in Wahoo; VFW #5547 and B&J's Family Restaurant and Lounge in Syracuse; and Bing's Sports Bar, Pizza Hut and Walmart in Nebraska City.

Businesses that fail an inspection are reported to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission, and any clerk who sells alcohol to a minor is cited on suspicion of procuring alcohol for a minor.
