The Lincoln Haymarket Development Corp. will host a guided Historic Haymarket Walking Tour Sunday, May 20.

Attendees will meet in Bill Harris Iron Horse Park, Seventh and Q streets, at 2 p.m. Ed Zimmer will guide the tour, and each person will receive a Walking Tour booklet with the new Historic Haymarket’s Neighbors insert.

The newly updated walking tour has been produced through the combined efforts of the Lincoln Haymarket Development Corp., Downtown Lincoln Association and Lincoln/Lancaster County Planning Department. The new booklet and insert update the 1987 tour publication by Ed Zimmer and Barbara Silverman. Funding for this project was provided by a Lancaster County Visitors Improvement Fund Grant. For more details, call 402-435-7496.

You may RSVP to the Historic Haymarket Guided Walking Tour on Lincoln’s Historic Haymarket District’s Facebook page. If you can’t make the guided tour, you may visit the Walking Tour online at www.haymarkettour.org and take your own tour. The Walking Tour will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.
