July 6, 1968 - December 1, 2017
Robin Louise Guilliatt, this life was just the beginning. Born July 6, 1968, to James and Judy Guilliatt. Robin entered the arms of our Lord December 1, 2017. Robin had a heart much larger than her small frame could hold. Her struggle with cancer reflected her approach to life. She fought hard, made the best of what she faced, did things her way, and brought laughter and joy to all she met along the way. Robin expressed extreme gratitude to all who helped in this journey.
Robin's passions included riding their tandem bike, bonfires with her many friends, family time, and long heartfelt chats. She loved music, old movies, talking on the phone (she didn't like the impersonal nature of texting), furry and feathered creatures, and going to the lake. Robin was artistic and creative. Children were naturally drawn to her honest and compassionate spirit. She spent much of her adult life caring for children, and was a constant source of light and warmth to the children of her neighborhood.
Robin never met a stranger. She advocated for all and she always spoke the truth. Robin will be missed by every life she touched and will be cherished in her eternal Home. We picture her in heaven sitting by the campfire with her dog, Sara, by her side.
Preceded in death by grandparents and many beloved pets. Survived by three brothers and four sisters, parents, many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. December 8, at Heritage Presbyterian Church, 880 S. 35th St., Lincoln. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or family.
