Fordham Lee Poffenbarger, 4, Middletown, went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 21, 2010 at University of Maryland Children's Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Frederick, June 2, 2005 he was a son of William Clint Jr. and Amy Lois Fordham Poffenbarger, Middletown. Fordie attended Christ Reformed UCC, Middletown and was in pre-school at Mom's Day Out at Grace Community Church, Frederick. He also loved riding his four wheeler.

Surviving, besides his parents, are: brothers and sister, Reese P. Poffenbarger, Saylor L. Poffenbarger, and Brittin W. Poffenbarger, all at home; paternal great-grandmother, Helen Poffenbarger, Woodsboro; maternal grandparents, Wyndell and Barbara Fordham, Lecanto, Fla.; paternal grandparents, William C. Sr. and Lois Poffenbarger, Thurmont; aunts and uncles, Dan Fordham, Aspen, Colo., John and Mary Fordham, Lincoln, Neb., Susan Backshall, Inverness, Fla., Christopher Fordham, Inverness, Fla., Neel and Judy Poffenbarger, Myersville, Matthew Poffenbarger, Lewistown. He is also survived by many cousins and great-aunts and great uncles.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday (3/24/10) at the chapel in Christ Reformed UCC, 12 S. Church St., Middletown from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday (3/25/10) from Zion Lutheran Church, 107 W. Main St., Middletown. Rev. Mark A. Wakefield will officiate. Interment will be made in Christ Reformed Church cemetery, Middletown. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, POB 333, Middletown, MD 21769 to help with the restoration due to their recent fire. Donald B.
