Edward J. Cuddy, 75, Lincoln, died Monday (1-31-11). Born (3-7-35) in O'Neill to Joseph and Zita (Donohoe) Cuddy. Retired Sales, Donley Medical Supply. U. S. Army Veteran. Member: Denton American Legion Post #355. Enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. An avid golfer and Husker fan and loved to spoil his schnauzer Candie. Ed was always upbeat and never met a stranger.
Family members include his wife, Elizabeth; daughters, sons-in-law: Marde and Dan Strizek, Carmen and Steve Javorsky, all of Lincoln; sons, daughters-in-law: Steve and Arlene Cuddy, Manteca, Calif., Mark and Mary Cuddy, Lincoln; step-children: Cindy Walker, Jimmy and Karen Overton, Terry Overton, all of Lincoln; grandchildren: Lindsay and Laura Strizek, Matt Javorsky, Andrea Cuddy, Briana and Heath McCoy, Tommy Garibay, Charles, Claire, Frank and Peter Cuddy, Blake Walker, Jesse and Nicole Overton, Breanna (Overton) Gausman, Rene Gausman; great grandson: Bo McCoy; sisters, brother-in-law: Patricia Walters, Helen Burke, Loretta Napier, Catherine (Tuts) and Jim Alworth; brother, sister-in-law: Jerry and Viona Cuddy. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Stefanie Javorsky, step-son, Roland W. Overton, Jr., parents.
