Former employee Lauhoff Grain Company (Crete Mills), Crete, Missouri Pacific, and Burlington Northern Railroads. Served in the U.S. Marine Corp. Member: Dorchester United Methodist Church, Seward County NFO, August-Vanek American Legion Post #264, Izaak Walton League, VFW Crete, Grain Millers Union, served on the Dorchester Schooln and Village Boards.
Survived by wife, Dorothy; daughters, Connie LeMonde, Catherine Beekley, both of Lincoln, Marcia Beekley, Dorchester; son, Kirk Beekley, Crete; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by daughter, Christine; son, Mark, and parents.
