A. Douglas Vandervort, 74, of Lincoln, passed away on December 3, 2017 in Lincoln. He was born on November 18, 1943, in Elkhart, Kansas, to Charles and Matilda (Harms) Vandervort. Retired realtor. Member of Cathedral of the Risen Christ, Serra Club, Knight of Columbus #9563, and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
Douglas is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha; children, Tracy (Sam) Boman of Lincoln, Amy (Pat) Schenk of Wahoo, Christine (Leonard) Tenhulzen of Lincoln, Kelly Vandervort of Lincoln, Joseph (Ana Maria) Vandervort of Moore, Oklahoma, Michael Vandervort of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren; sister, Glenda King of Elkhart; brother, Roger Vandervort of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma; and niece, Kathy Jo (Jerry) Chrin of Elkhart. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Allen and Clarence; and sisters, Annabell Tucker, Ima Jean Ullum, and Phyllis Gibson.
