Did you know that an estimated 18,940 children in southeast Nebraska lack consistent, reliable access to enough food to live an active and healthy life?
This summer, the Food Bank of Lincoln is giving youths entering grades 6-8 a chance to be difference makers during a one-day, free summer camp. Camp Feed the Need is a new opportunity presented by the Food Bank to help educate and empower kids to make a difference.
The camp includes educational opportunities, food sorting volunteer activities and games focused on feeding the need in southeast Nebraska. Registration is limited to 15 campers and includes a free lunch and camp T-shirt. To participate, contact Kati at firstname.lastname@example.org or 402-466-8170, ext. 112.
