The fourth annual Git-R-Done Golf Classic raised $265,000 for children’s and veterans’ charities across the country. The lead gift funds seizure-monitoring technology in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bryan Health.

“We are thrilled that the Git-R-Done Foundation is again supporting Bryan Health this year,” said Bob Ravenscroft, vice president for advancement at Bryan Health. “The Git-R-Done Foundation has been a great friend of Bryan. More importantly, they’ve been an even better friend to our littlest patients in the NICU.”

The Git-R-Done Foundation’s lead gift provides funding for cerebral function monitors. Infant seizures are often hidden and difficult to detect. This technology allows doctors and nurses to diagnose and treat minor seizures immediately, which can prevent long-term mental and physical injuries.

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy hosted the Git-R-Done Golf Classic in late June at Yankee Hill Country Club. Super Bowl Champion Joe Theismann, World Series Champion David Wells, actress Debbe Dunning and singer/songwriter Colt Ford were just a few of the celebrities that attended.

Said Larry the Cable Guy, “I was so bad, my caddie was throwing my clubs! Seriously, though, I was so excited to have celebrities and sponsors from across the country right here in Nebraska to join us for such a great cause!”
