They’ll maybe be able to hear the saxophones in St. Paul on Sept. 4 when the latest announced Nebraska State Fair act takes the stage in Grand Island.

Huey Lewis and the News will play their music, ooh their not-so-modern music that Friday night for fans of the ‘80s pop rock kingpins.

The band known for hits including “Heart of Rock & Roll,” “Hip to Be Square,” “Stuck With You,” “If This Is It,” “Do You Believe in Love” and Marty McFly’s soul set to synthesizer, “The Power of Love,” will provide the Friday night entertainment at the fair, which already booked Keith Urban (Aug. 29), Jake Owen (Sept. 6) and Tony Orlando (Sept. 2), among others.

Tickets to see Huey Lewis and the News at the Heartland Events Center run $20 apiece and are on sale through etix.com or by going to statefair.org
